In a major infrastructural push, the Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister has sanctioned the comprehensive high-speed rail corridor project designed to connect major manufacturing and industrial nodes across Western and Central India.

The project, slated for phased execution over the next four years, integrates state-of-the-art signaling systems, green energy overhead traction, and multimodal interchange points with dedicated freight corridors.
